Low Allergen Therapy (LDA)
LDA is a safe and effective immunotherapy used to treat food allergies and environmental allergies as well as autoimmune conditions. When our immune system loses tolerance we become highly reactive to benign substances such as food, airborne particles, and even our own tissue. The Low Dose Allergen immunotherapy program aims to retrain the immune system, restoring tolerance and balance your immune system.
- LDA treatment involves giving a very low dose of allergens along with an enzyme, beta-glucuronidase. This enzyme attracts specific white blood cells (T-regulator cells) that are involved in the immune response and consequently this combination causes a down-regulation, or calming of the response of the immune systemIncreased Immune Tolerance
- Reduction of Symptoms
The LDA program involves a course of oral sublingual treatment, every 8 weeks. Most people may require a course of 5-8 treatments, along with diet modification and supplement treatment. More information here

Low Dose Allergen Therapy operates on a principle of desensitization. Allergies, essentially, are the result of an overactive immune response to substances that are normally harmless. LDA works by re-educating the immune system, guiding it to recognize these substances, or allergens, as non-threatening. Unlike traditional allergy treatments, which often involve exposing the body to escalating doses of allergens, LDA employs ultra-low doses right from the start, emphasizing the importance of precision and safety.
LDA often takes the form of sublingual drops placed under the tongue. This sublingual route allows for the allergens to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream.
LDA is given at such low doses that instead of picking and choosing what allergens need to be treated, the formula is broken down into 3 categories. Each category can be given at the same time.
